Vivi Navarro, painter, is totally fascinated by the sea, the boats and these men who spend the major part of their life to navigate. What more natural than this irresistible urge to climb the accommodation ladder of the CMA CGM Marco Polo, the largest container ship of the world ? From Southampton to Le Havre, she is going to become soaked with the atmosphere which reigns on board, going to meet the ship and the crew. Impression, sketches and photos will be used to make the paintings that she will expose at The pavillon M (on December) of Marseille – Provence 2013, of which CMA CGM group is a partner.
