Magic is in the air when the world’s biggest containership, the CMA CGM Marco Polo, meets with a famous maritime photographer’s camera. Philip Plisson’s work has been frequently rewarded. He is one of the very few photographers to have received the prestigious title of ” Peintre de la Marine” from the French Government.  His latest publication “Les marées” (his 65th book) also received the Prize of “Maritime Book” of the year.

For this year’s end, we offer you the first images of the CMA CGM Marco Polo taken by Philip Plisson while the ship, returning from its first European rotation, going down the Channel, was pursuing its trip to Asia. A beautiful encounter with the biggest containership of the planet !
